One family, one vineyard
As far back as the family tree, the SEGUINOTs have always worked the vine.
Domaine Séguinot & Filles
Our Domaine is located in Maligny, 8 km north of Chablis on the North/South axis of the Serein Valley.
Maligny is one of the 19 villages that make up the world-renowned Chablis appellation.
Our village, which backs onto the right bank of the Serein, enjoys a privileged south-western exposure, giving it the reputation of producing rich, well-balanced wines.
Maligny has 300 hectares of its own vineyards, out of some 5,000 hectares planted.
Our village is fortunate to have 3 levels of appellations (including two premier crus): Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume and Chablis 1er Cru Homme Mort.
Daniel set up in 1971 with the help of his father and grandfather on around 2 ha of Chablis and 3 ha of Fourchaume and Homme Mort in 1975.
For almost 40 years, the farm has continued to evolve, and today covers around 25 hectares.
Daniel’s greatest development and reward was the arrival of his 2 daughters.
Emilie in 2003 and Laurence in 2008 took up the torch, proudly carrying on the family tradition.
This father/daughter bond helps to ensure the quality and authenticity of our wines.
The evolution of techniques has enabled the estate to obtain the HVE3 label in March 2021, a label that recognizes the value of our work, mainly from an environmental point of view.
The wines are distributed in France and abroad.
