The Chablis 1er Cru Homme Mort appellation is located on the hillsides on the right bank of the Serein, giving it the most favorable exposure for expressing its personality.
The Domaine farms 0.60 ha.
The deep Kimmeridgian soils give Chablis 1er cru Homme Mort a racy, elegant, mineral and fat character.
It can be enjoyed from its second year, and can be kept for 7 to 12 years.
It should be drunk at a temperature of 12-13°C, and goes well with foie gras, fish and poultry in cream sauce, or cooked with morels.
